The Miss South Carolina Scholarship Foundation is excited to present season three of “Dancing with the Palmetto State Stars” at the Township Auditorium on June 22nd, 2024.
You won’t want to miss our local star-studded cast of over 15 couples competing to be the evening’s Palmetto State’s Star. Stars from around South Carolina will be paired with a professional ballroom dancer to show us their best tango, salsa, foxtrot, and much more!

Dancing with the Palmetto Stars is a fundraiser benefiting the Miss South Carolina Scholarship Organization. An official preliminary to the Miss America Competition, the Miss South Carolina Scholarship Organization, Inc. is the largest provider of scholarships to young women in the state. Often perceived as a one-night competition by the general public, the organization lends itself to much more.

The Miss South Carolina Scholarship Organization is set out to advance the creation, promotion and support of community service and educational opportunities for young women in the State of South Carolina while providing a forum in which to express their opinions, talent and intelligence.
​
Participation in this program provides young women with the opportunity to promote individual social impact initiatives, gain experience through participation in interviews, talent performances, public speaking, and social/digital media interactions while serving as role models in their communities. They also complete thousands of hours of community service.
​
The Miss South Carolina Organization provides more than $250,000 in scholarships to young women throughout the state.
